Welcome
For the last 35 years I have been
responsible for different areas of Construction Risk Management.
After graduating from the University of Maryland, I spent the next 20
years as a Construction Risk Manager for national general building
contractors. The next phase of my career was initiated by AIG who
recruited me to be a Construction Risk Underwriting Officer in their
New Hampshire Insurance Division.
When AIG shut down the New Hampshire I became a successful
consultant, consulting on OCIP projects in Portland Maine, St. Louis,
San Diego and Phoenix. Projects included computer chip plants,
hotels, convention centers, pipe lines, pump stations and water treatment
plants.
The most recent 10 years, as an insurance broker, I sold,
implemented, administered and concluded OCIP/CCIP projects in San Diego
and Las Vegas. The 48 projects involved in this experience had
construction values exceeding $12 Billion, and included light rail, an
airport terminal, schools, a convention center, and casino/hotel
projects.
The result of this odyssey is that I have hands on
experience in Risk Management from all sides of the Risk Management
equation, having worked for owners, contractors and insurers.
Let me put this comprehensive and unique point of view to work for you to successfully solve your Risk Management problem. |
